About Our Fraternity

Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity was founded at New York University on October 5, 1904. The ten Founders were Robert S. Douglas, Howard M. Jefferson, Daniel V. Duff, Irving L. Camp, George L. Bergen, Nathan Lane, Jr., Morris S. Rachimil , Herbert M. Wright, Frederic R. Leach, and William O. Tremaine. The Fraternity was incorporated in the State of New York on May 20, 1905.

Since Alpha Kappa Psi's founding in 1904, 325 college chapters have been chartered, and more than 200 chapters and colonies are currently active
. More than 247,000 have been initiated into the brotherhood.
